Hi... my ADR window opens in a couple of weeks for our 8/29-9/5 trip. We're not planning a ton of ADRs, but the ones we want are more difficult to get. I'm looking for advice on how to prioritize. Here's what we're hoping for:

Storybook Dining--can likely only fit this in on arrival day
Sci Fi Dine In
CRT
BBB--want to do the same day as CRT so wanted to mention
Yoga's

With the exception of Storybook, I'm planning on booking the ADRs toward the end of the trip to maximize our shot. I plan to be online at 6am that morning, what so you think my chances are of landing all of them? Which would you recommend I add first? And lastly, does it make sense to have another of our party also logged in to my or her own MDE so we can divide and conquer?

Thanks!

I would do:
CRT - generally the most difficult of your group
Sci Fi
Storybook Dining - this and Sci Fi can both be challenging.
BBB - if this is a priority, may want to book this right after CRT ADR done.
I assume you meant Ogas. This is probably the easiest of your group.

Good luck.

Just wanted to say that I’d book your arrival day meal no less than 5 hours after you land. Save yourself some stress of potentially not making the ADR.

Thanks for the all the advice! We're arriving early so should have plenty of time before dinner.

And I did mean Oga's, didn't notice! 😝

Hopefully with 2 of us working on it simultaneously we'll get lucky.

Since Storybook is your first day, I’d book that first. I found that more difficult to get than CRT. At first I could only get an 830 pm time slot but then I was able to move it up to 725, which I’m ok with. We also booked the first day.

ETA: I didn’t find BBB to be hard to get a time at all. The times for my July trip are still pretty wide open. I’d do that last.
Also just so you know, if you wanted CRT dinner they saved all the prime dinner times for the Royal Celebration package

On our last trip I wasn't able to get any slots for Storybook dining over 7 days, and it was the second res I checked. I agree with setting up reservation finders on TP and Mouse Dining. Sci-fi I've found doesn't always open up at 180 days...I would keep checking on that. Book CRT then BBB. BBB runs late sometimes (as does CRT!) so I would make sure you have plenty of time between the 2. Lastly, Oga's doesn't have food, even though it says you can make reservations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - just want to make sure you know that. I would try to get your ADRs in the exact order you have listed. Also, having 2 accounts opened at once has never helped me. I am a one computer/phone type of gal.

Wow, we are going to be at Disney the exact same dates. Don't worry though...no ADR competition here LOL. I am going to Storybook dining, but not until day 4 or 5. Here's hoping that we have a smooth vacation and we don't stress too much with planning! Good luck to you!

So funny! Enjoy your trip and planning

Thanks for the advice! I know about Oga's, we're huge Star Wars fans so want to have a look...and a drink lol.

Others have given good advice but just wanted to add, if for some reason you don't get what you want, be sure to set up an ADR finder with Touring Plans. I've never had a problem getting any ADR by checking back frequently and using the ADR finder.
Thanks! Do I have to subscribe to TP for that feature? I've never really spent too much time on that site.

Thanks. We're totally okay with a lunch res for CRT. Gives us a break from the heat. And no matter how much my daughter loves princesses, it's night enough for that package price tag.

I second the recommendation to set up a reservation finder for anything you may not get when you first reserve everything. You don't need tro purchase a Touring Plans subscription (though we love ours!). A free account will let you have the same two reservation finders going. A second e-mail address can get you another two. DH and I each have an account for that reason. I ended up having to make a less desirable Storybook dining ADR even though it was the second one I made, right after BoG breakfast! Over time I have been able to move that to the exact day and time we wanted! And we still have two months until our trip. Enjoy the planning!
