I found out this morning that there is a glitch in the system.

We booked a split stay with DVC. New system has multiple resorts under one reservation #. New dining system does not recoginze the ENTIRE reservation.

I attempted to make online ADR at 6:00 AM. I got an error message each time. Then I called at 7:00. First CM was clueless to the 180+ policy and insisted I was calling to early. After 30 minutes I decided to hang up and call again. After speaking with a well informed Disney Dining it was confirmed that I was in the right.

She recommended I call MS which I did at 9:00. She said this all did not make sense so she tried to make an ADR for me and it did not work again. Same thing. System says I was not in my 180 day window. So she put me on hold to speak to someone in the DVC IT dept. She was informed that they are aware of a problem with the system, so they did end up giving me a seperate reservation # for the second half of our trip.

No problem after that. I was able to book all my ADR online including the second half of the stay under the first resort confirmation #.

Thanks for the info

MS has a better work around now instead of giving 2 reservation # (which means if you segments are not a true split that even when the front desk does it right you will still likely have to get new cards). Now they are creating "temporary" cash room reservations making the dining reservation and then cancelling the cash room reservation. As long as you have a reservation for that date the sytem will not kick it out.

MS and the technology department are aware of the situation and hopefully they will fix it in the near future.

I was not given the option. I was put on hold and MS came back with a new reservation #.

If your reservation was a true "split stay" it may have been just as good for you and easier for MS to do, mine was a segmented stay in the same room location and type.
