adr questions

I have made all of our adrs for 6 people. There is a chance that my dad may not be able to make all of them. Will I have a problem if only 5 of us show up for our adr? I won't have anyway of knowing if he'll be there until the day of. Thanks.

There will be no problem at all! The only time it becomes an issue is usually if there is a reservation for 4 and then 8 people turn up as this is technically an extra table. ADR's are actually for a range of party sizes so you will have a 5-6 party ADR anyway, and usually if you are dropping numbers they are more than happy! Makes it easier to sit parties.
