ADR question

Will it be possible to get the ADRs I want? I will be there the second week of Nov 2009. If I call first thing in the morning at the 90 day mark will I be able to get breakfast at CRT?

Dh is worried that with changing it to 90 days out that more people will be calling at the same time. He thinks it will be harder to get the ADRs.

I told DH that it should not be any harder than it was at 180 days.

What do you think?

You may not get the ADRs you want, but you have just as good a chance as anyone else, especially if you call at 7am eastern.

Just be on the phone at 7:00 with your plans in hand. That's what everybody around here does.

You will be fine. I even changed around CRT after the ADR mark and had lots of openings.

Everyone is still playing by the same rules. It's just that more people are having their definite dining plans in place when they call. 90 days doesn't change one thing.

You can give your husband a sports analogy. It doesn't matter if it's raining or a sunny day on the football field. Both teams are playing under the same conditions. Same thing with dining reservations. Everyone is playing either under sunny or rainy skies, doesn't really matter.

Yes, everyone is still playing by the same rules. It's just a shorter window now, so I would say the better sports analogy would be we're now on a Two Minute Drill rather than having a whole quarter to win what we want.

OP: Just as long as long as you have all of your plans in order, like the PP's said, you shouldn't have any issues getting what you want...you may need to be flexible on what days you do which meals though, that would be my only piece of advice. If you can't get the CRT breakfast on the day you want, start asking about other days you'll be there, and maybe start planning you days in parks around which meals you have where, not the other way around.
