I will be travelling with 3 other adults as well as my two kids, aged 3 and 12 months so I need flexibility with dining times, options, etc. Is it OK to make reservations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday even though we may not eat any table service in any given day? That way if we decide we want to eat a sit down meal we are covered. If we don't show up, no big deal right? Does anyone else do this?

Sure, it's fine...but out of courtesy to others who may get shut out of a table you should cancel your ADR as soon as you know you won't be using it.

Absolutely!!!!! :thumbsup2

Please make sure you cancel. Otherwise, those tables will sit empty.

This is something that you are allowed to do in the current system. But I would urge you to think about the fact that you are now "holding" a table at a sit down restaurant that you probably will not use. You are preventing someone else the opportunity to reserve that table that they would use.
Even if you cancel at the last minute, that spot was reserved for you and someone else was not able to plan on that meal.
Just my Opinion.

Thanks for the responses. I will make ADRs for a few meals at places I'd really like to eat, and that way I won't be taking up reservation space from other people who are more likely to need them. The rest of our meals can just be counter service. Plus, this leaves me more places to try on my next trip!
