ADR question for the experts

We will be a party of 12 11/5-11/12, which includes 3 families. We don't have park hours yet, and aren't sure where we will be. Is it possible for each family to make an ADR (in 3 different parks) and cancel the ones we don't need? The other question is: If the family whos name it is under is a no-show, can the rest of us get in using their name? Any help appreciated.
