hi,

i'm trying to decide which restaurants to go to in my next trip - my fiance and i haven't booked it yet, but have got an idea of when we want to go, and it'll be for 3 weeks. we need to decide whether to include ddp, or the deluxe ddp, or to go with neither...ideally, we'd probably have 1 ts meal per day, maybe 2 on days where we're 'relaxing'. there will probably be four or five days where we're using our orlando flexticket...aquatic, ioa etc so we probably don't need meals for those days at wdw...sorry if i'm babbling on - it'll be my fiance's first ever trip to WDW, and america for that matter, and i want it to be fantastic...we both love food ;) so dining is a big part of the trip for us

if we book ddp its £1050 so approx $2100
if we book dddp it's £1806 so approx $3600

thats not including alcoholic drinks obviously...

i'd love to go to:

'ohana @ polynesian

spirit of aloha dinner show @ polynesian

kona cafe @ polynesian

whispering canyon cafe @ wl

jiko @ akl

boma @ akl

shula's steak house @ dolphin

boatwright's @ por

maya grill @ conorado springs

california grill @ contemporary

tusker house @ ak

yak and yeti @ ak

liberty tree tavern @ mk

mama melrose's @ hollywood studios

hollywood and vine @ hollywood studios

sci-fi dine in @ hollywood studios

le cellier @ canada epcot

nine dragons @ china epcot

rose & crown @ uk epcot (at some point, i think we'll want some 'home' food)

coral reef @ epcot

teppan edo @ japan epcot

rainforest cafe @ dd

:worried: that's a lot.....i know i more than likely won't get all of them, but i don't know how to choose between them! comments would be appreciated on what you think and why, and if there are any particular dishes you recommend!

thanks! :worship:

Well, if you're staying for three weeks, and doing the DxDP then you could probably do all of them! Minus the weight gain and all that pesky stuff! ;)

My tops on your list would be: Ohana, Whispering Canyon, Liberty Tree Tavern, Sci-fi, Le Cellier, Coral Reef. They each bring something different to your dining experience.

Have a great trip - whether you eat at every one of them or just a couple, I'm sure it will be a special trip for you both!:goodvibes

thanks for your opinion :goodvibes

ive been twice to wdw, but havent really eaten at many of the restaurants, as my family are more the 'eat on the go' so we mainly had cs meals, so i'm completely lost with ts and adr's!

Some of the places you've listed aren't on the Dining Plan, so factor in that additional cost. Click on Dining near the top of this page and you'll be just a couple of clicks away from the list of DP restaurants.

We have not dined at a lot of the places you mentioned (we don't do signature meals). My only suggestion is if you are doing Boatwright's that you do it for breakfast and not dinner. We had dinner there last year and it was by far the worse meal we've ever had at Disney.

The ones from your list that are a few of our favorites are Kona, Ohana, and Boma ::yes::. We also did the luau, which we thought had very good food.....and we also liked the show :goodvibes.
