:confused3 We've been to disney 2 times before but this will be our first time ever using the DP. Sounds like a good idea and so now we have to make our reservations. Question...How hard is it to change the ressie once it's made???

We're still not sure who will for sure join us on the trip so when we made the ressie we just accounted for everyone, at a later date however we may have to drop a name or two. Our party for sure going is for 12, a very possible 3-4 more and a friend MAY accompany us. So we've made ressies for 17. Sounds to me, after reading on here, like they will want us to cancel all and rebook. Is that how it works??? Are we scre#@d?

I'm afraid we'll end up with nothing.

We booked 90 days out. Have 3 dinners so far. CM, Crystal palce, and Mama Melrose (any info or advice on these). Not sure I'll be thrilled with MM.

Anyway, you guys rock, and if I'm changing this I better get doing it so what do you advise?????

P.S. We got o.k. times, not our first choice but close enough but our table situation is kinda nuts. One resturant we have 4 tables, a 6,5,4, and a 3. How do you enjoy dinner with everyone spread out???

Thanks in advance---M :)

I'll use the example you describe with the four tables of 6, 5, 4, and 3 for a total of 18 spaces for human beings to sit. First of all, those four tables will more than likely be right next to each other so I wouldn't worry about that too much. If possible, you can ask for them to be pushed together (but if they can't be, they can't be).

Now, if five of your people decide they aren't going, Disney will simply drop that table for 5 from your reservation. That's why is much better to make your reservations for the maximum amount of people. Much easier to drop a table than to add one.

You should be fine.

I would leave it as is and adjust as you need to.(When you arrive at the restaurant).
There were a couple of times on our last trip when some of our party was not feeling well and opted out of a couple of meals. When we checked in I just let them know that we were now a party of 6 instead of 9. The only place I had an issue was at Cali. Grill and they charged us the no show fee for our missing guests. However after explaining the situation to the manager he credited the no show fee back to us.:thumbsup2

Thank you for the quick input. I am afraid that if we wait until that day we may be charged a meal we no longer need. For now though, I think I'll let it stand as is. :goodvibes

From my understanding fantasmic is not offered the night we will be there. I was so wanting to see it.

Glad to hear Mama melrose is a nice place to go. What do yu like about it? Any tips on what to order.
