Hello - we have been recommended to visit LTT for character dining during our trip MArch/April. On one web page it states Character Dining not available from Jan 31st 2009. Can anyone confirm if this is correct please.
Also can anyone recommend other venues as we have never done an ADR before - do you book directly over the phone

According to TourGuide Mike Liberty Tree Tavern hasn't had characters since 5th January.

To book ADRs you need to phone Disney on 00 1 407 939 3463.

It's true, no more characters, but the food is still good!!!

We went on Christmas Day for lunch. I don't know whether it was because of Christmas or if it's a change to go along with the characters stopping but lunch was also the buffet rather than choosing from the menu. I'd recommend it anyway the food was delicious

Thanks fo rupdate. That is such a shame as my sister was really impressed with that venue and disney character visit last time she was there in 2007. Can anyone share where the characters have gone to or recommend an experience please?

In MK the only character meal now is Crytsal palace with Pooh and Tigger etc, lighter but noiser than LTT, have dobe CP a few times. Chef Mickey's is popular, we in that in 2007.

Cinderella's Royal Table (in the castle) is also a character meal, if you are in to Princesses! Crystal Palace is great though! We go every trip.

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort just outside the MK is a popular one for all meals. It's a buffet, so the food is not served family style like LTT.

As others have mentioned, the only other character meals inside MK are Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends or you can dine with the princesses for breakfast or lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table inside the castle.

ssshhhh but I did choice a charater breakfast at CP for my borthday in 2007 !

We hope to do Breakfast with Stich at the Poly this year as dd mad on Stich which I don't mind apart from she will make me ride Stiches Great escape again in MK
