Hi all,

i have booked two adr's for xmas day and reading the small print on the confirmation emails it states that a credit card is required for securing the booking. i am not staying on site so not part of ddp anyone had to do this after booking online? i would hate to get there and they had cancelled because of this, i do not own nor could i get a credit card so its a worry really! any advise welcome!

thanks x

Which two restaurants did you book? There is a mention of the cc guarantee which is required for certain reservations, which appears as standard under all your ADR confirmations.

If the system did not ask you for your credit card details and gave you a confirmation and a reservation number, then you are confirmed and booked. Just keep a hold of your confirmation numbers and you are fine.

thanks 2tiggies we have cp and chef mickey's and it did not ask for credit card details when i booked online. fingers crossed! i will print the confirmation off just to be safe x

Ive never had to leave cc details for those places, we have them booked for oct

Caroline, I have just gone through a string of restaurants on the Disney website and made a 'mock ADR' for each of them - ones that I know for a fact do not require cc details, and they ALL have this in the Guest Policy info below:

Most Walt Disney World Resort table-service restaurants that accept advance reservations can accommodate Kosher needs if requested at least 24 hours in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call. A credit card is required to guarantee this meal; the full price of ordered meals will be charged if you cancel within one day of the reservation or are a "no show" for the reservation. At family-style or buffet locations, you will only receive one meal; does not include all-you-care-to-eat. You will be charged the regular buffet or all-you-care-to-eat price.

They have clearly just taken a standard line and applied it to all restaurants. Get those ressie confirmation numbers, add them to your planning file and enjoy your countdown! :goodvibes
