We are taking our extended family to WDW in June '10 and our 180 day time is coming up before long. Several family members are wanting to try for CRT reservations. I'm the planner for the family - but am leaving it up to the individual families to try to get the reservations on their own. Their options for making reservations is on-line sometime in the wee hours of the morning or calling for reservations.

Our reservations are through DVC - I've read before that some people have had trouble with DVC confirmation numbers with the on-line reservations. Is that still an issue?

What time can they try on-line? What time can they call?

What info will they need other than their reservation number and a credit card? One room is in my name, but my DH's niece and her family are actually staying in it. I just didn't have their address handy when I called for reservations - so I put it in my name, but put their names on the reservation. Will that be a problem? I want to have everything ready to hand to them on Thanksgiving with "no-fail" directions for trying to get CRT. If you could help answer my questions - I'd appreciate it.

You can call for an ADR as of 7:00 am EST. The reservationist will talk you through the process.

It's really not all that challenging. Just have your restaurant requests, dates and times ready, and something to write down the confirmation numbers. With this new (and horrible) ADR system there have been any number of problems, so keeping track of the confirmation numbers has become very important.

Thanks - is it okay that they'll have a reservation number/confirmation number but the room won't necessarily have their name on the reservation. They should be listed on the room, but the reservation is in my name.

Last time we went, the room was in FIL's name, but I called and made the ADR in my name, no problem. They ask for the room reservation #, the primary guest name (that would be you), and I think arrival date and resort, and phone number (but that does not have to match the number on the reservation).

Thanks! Now I've got all the information I need to let them all know how to get the ADRs they are wanting.
