I made 2 TS ADRs for the same day and will need to cancel one, but I'm not sure which one to cancel.

We made an 8:10am ADR for Crystal Palace. We are eating dinner there earlier in the week so we'd get to see Pooh, but we did breakfast here last year and loved it. Plus, we liked being in MK before opening for pictures. However, I just found out that it's a LOEMH day. We are going to MNSSHP that night, but had planned on only staying at MK until noon, then going back to Pop for the little ones to nap/rest before the party.

For the same day, we have a 5:10 ADR for Ohana. We have never eaten there. I'm concerned that if we don't get right in at our ADR time, we're going to miss quite a bit of MNSSHP, and maybe even be too full to enjoy it.

Do we skip CP and go to LOEMH? Or do we keep CP, skip LOEMH and cancel Ohana? Or heck, should I cancel both and do CS's for the day, and leave our last TS credit to pay for 1900 the next morning for breakfast (which we were going to pay for OOP)

And if any of this makes sense, you deserve a gold star!

I'm sorry... what's LOEMH? I know what EMH is... but I'm not understanding the "LO" piece.

That said... I would skip the breakfast at CP since you already have a different meal scheduled there, and go to the 'Ohana dinner. You might miss the very beginning of MNSSHP, but that will depend on how much time you spend at 'Ohana... they serve the food quickly, but sometimes kids (and adults) get a little wrapped up in the party atmosphere and spend more time than they planned.

Wow. You are going to be packing in that day at MK if you plan on am EMH and then coming back for MNSSHP! We are going to P&PP in Aug, and because we are planning on closing the park down, and hopefully taking advantage of shorter lines, etc., we are sleeping in that morning!:lmao:

Anyway, I would skip CP. Don't waste am EMH in a TS restaurant.;) Just grab something that could last you until a brunch time frame when the park starts to get crowded. Then, if you wanted Ohana, you'd be ready for that early, filling dinner. Then you could grab more snacks and supplements throughout the night without needing to really sit down anywhere.

On the night that we are going to P&PP we are eating at CP at 6:25, which will be before the festivities start but after we can get into the park for the day. I think we are planning on grabbing more real food for DS6 at 10 or so, and snacks for DH and me.

My one concern would be how early your dinner is. If you were planning on staying late in the park, you will probably get hungry again between 5:10 and park closing and need to plan to eat something again anyway. I don't know if you'd just be better off planning on a CS in the park which some sort of meal with the kids after they get up from their naps?:confused3

LOEMH = Little Ones Extra Magic Hour

We did a park last year before MNSSHP, then went back to the villa around 12for naps/rest, then had ADRs at 4:30 and made it through to the end of the party. Plus, we are early dinner eaters at home, so we make all of our ADRs for an early time.

If your kids are very young, I don't think I would miss LOEMH. That is one event that I do not want my little ones to miss! I hear it is fantastic and they will be able to meet many characters and even play games or ride with them. How magical would THAT be for your kids :wizard:

I definitely understand the appeal of an early reservation when it means getting into an empty park ... but if you're up and at the park that early on an emh morning, I'd want to play, not eat. Is there a later time you could have at CP, maybe 10:30ish, after you've taken advantage of the lower crowds for the emh? I could see having a light breakfast early, a later sit-down breakfast and then going back for a relaxing afternoon and naps. That said, it would work with my nieces, who don't mind eating a small meal and waiting for a bigger one. It might throw some kids off.

I would cancel them both, neither is a good fit for the day.

Getting up that early on the day of a MNSSHP is not a good idea. You will have your empty park from about 10pm on, because of all the foolish party goes that got up early and can't make it past that.

Eating during prime party time is also not the best plan (prime party time really starts around 5 PM when the park crowds start to noticeably thin out- you can ride lots with short lines and not have to miss any party special entertainment).

I would try for a 4:30 seating at Kona :) or just eat CS that day. And please sleep in that morning. The party is so much fun, and you really don't want to be exhausted for it.
