ADR Help? Times, reservations, order

Hi All,

I get to make my ADRs Monday am andI’m staying at BWI so I can make a whole trips worth that day. I’ve been checking out reservation availability the last few days and it seems like everything I want is always gone! But I do notice depending on how I search, website vs app, by restaurant or just search times I get wildly different results. Is that normal? Anyone have a best practice? Like I get 0 results if I search for 12pm, but then 10 options if I choose 12:30. All very strange.

Also, I’ve never stayed on site. When I login Monday am will it just automatically make the 60+ 10 days available to me? Anything special I need to do?

and does anyone know if I need to purchase my tickets and make park reservations before the system will allow me to book? I realize I need them that day to enter park, just not sure if I can make the actual ADR before that step.

And finally any tips on how you’d order, plan here:
Arrival day -60 days out lunch at garden grill
61 days - dinner at trattoria al forno
62 days - dinner coral reef or Teppan edo
63 days-50s prime time dinner, Hollywood and vine lunch
63 days lunch the plaza dinner California grill -630ish not necessarily for fireworks

I think its normal to get different results. I can search 12 and get nothing. If I search 12:30, I'll get 6 results, including one for 11:45. Go figure. I check specific times within one hour before and one hour after what time


When you login, you should automatically get the 60+10 as long as your reservation is linked to your account. No need for tickets first.

I’m sorry, I don’t have experience with most of your ADR’s. I would recommend Teppan Edo over Coral Reef,

Separate most Disney Springs reservations from park and resort eateries.
You can make all DS reservations at www.opentable.com in advance with the exception of Homecomin’.
Should you have an interest in Landry properties having a membership card means no ADR needed. Just call a day or two in advance or arrive without an ADR and you’ll receive preferential treatment after giving your membership account number. I would also check online to see if you can make reservations on line.

Choose your favored park and resort places and check for reservations there first on Monday. Sign up for touring plans and use the reservation finder for other ADRs.

No idea if you have to have all your ticket components paid for before making ADRs.

Last 2 trips this year for us...

In descending order, plaza, CA grill & garden grill difficult

both CR & TE had availability for party of 3 or 4

Garden grill food was quite sad during our 4th of July trip. In the past our go-to character dinner with GD. Salad was best part of meal, riblets so full of fat & gristle = inedible. Mac & cheese cold, both 1st & 2nd attempts. Dessert, well let’s just say that capped off a nearly $200 mistake we won’t make again

Haven’t dined at either since pre covid, however, CR gets the nod for me. The Kobe lake buena vista much better than TE re quality, pricing, atmosphere & huge portions
