Hi all,
Can you please give me some input on my ADRs? We have the reg dining plan but as you can see, we need to pay for 2 meals OOP.

Citrico's - MK day til 12am (new)
50's Prime - HS til 12am (been)
Via Napoli Lunch OOP - Epcot (new)
CPalace breakfast - MK day. (new for bf).....Ohana Dinner. (new for dinner)
Tusker House Lunch - AK day (new for lunch)
Chefs/France lunch OOP - Epcot til 12am (new)

I have 6 dining credits for each person. Its just the two of us (my DS & I). Which meals should I pay OOP??? Is it worth it to use the credits for Citrico's? Or should i pay that one OOP? Or should I pay OOP for one meal at Citrico's, and pay for my son's in cash since he might order the kids meal there anyway (he's over 9 but whatever). We did this at another signature last year. That saved us 2 TS credits to use else where!

Or im thinking Via & Chefs might be good to pay OOP.

Thoughts? :flower3: If we use the DP for Chefs & Via but pay for my son's meal at Citrico's, then i might switch Chefs & Via to dinner instead of lunch.

Based on price points, I would pay Via Napoli or Prime Time out of pocket. I would pay oop for any child meal that the kiddo wanted to order, if you have an adult dining plan for him. Those adult table service credits are worth far too much to waste on a kid meal:)

You would probably have to go over to allears.net to check out the menu prices to be sure, but here is my take on it:

For yourself, pay OOP for Via Napoli and 50s PTC (or which ever of the 2 a la carte restaurants are cheapest). This will probably still be cheaper than paying OOP for Citricos (for yourself)

For your son, pay OOP for Citricos if he will order off of the child's menu. There's your 2 credit saving right there. If he will order off the adult menu there, then pay OOP at the same TS places as you.

Great suggestions here. Via & 50's are both pretty decently priced, so paying OOP is not a bad idea. And definitely if your son will eat off the kids menu at citrico's, pay OOP for him. :thumbsup2

Great suggestions. Thank you. Gives me something to think about. I just might go ahead and pay one meal at 50's & Via OOP. :thumbsup2

CP breakfast is around $22.99. Tusker House lunch is $25.99. (need to add 6.5% tax to these)

If there is something on Chef's DINNER menu you want, I'd switch to dinner and pay CP or Tusker OOP.

At Via Napoli, you can probably share an individual pizza, an app, and a dessert and come out pretty well OOP.

This is really going to come down to what you are planning to order at the non buffet/all you care to eat places. Remember that DDP does not include appetizers, only entree, drink, and dessert. Also, you have the flexibility to choose what you want when you go OOP at those type places.

For example, my family would go to LTT just for Tavern Cheese and Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. Sure, my husband and I might split a burger, but we are going to be paying OOP for the Tavern Cheese anyway, so we might as well pay for all of it OOP or just use one adult credit for the burger and dessert. You don't have to use two credits. I am pretty sure you can split some things also.

Thats what im thinking of doing, maybe doing one meal OOP and the other meal i'll use a DP credit. Makes sense to do it that way.
