ADR frustration

So, I made my ADRs on my 90 day mark at the end of June. I got about 80% of our desired restaurants, and had to settle on something different for the rest.
I have been trying and trying to book our other desired restaurants almost daily since then with no luck.
I know its free dining, and even though its our first free dining, I have read here that this is what the free dining period is like.

Still,I am kind of disappointed. I had really hoped for Lecellier,Ohana or Coral Reef and I can't get any of them. And I would like to schedule a few of our dinners either a bit earlier or later and can't do that either.
Anyone else in this predicament??

I think there are alot of people having the same problem. I was fortunate enough to get everything I wanted but not at the times I wanted. I continued to check 2-3 times daily on-line and was able to adjust (meaning cancelling & rescheduling) closer to the times I wanted. I cannot stress enough to just hang in there and keep checking back daily, cancellations come up all the time. Also when you are getting closer to your 45day mark sometimes there will be more cancellations due to people having to pay their final vacation payments and deciding they are unable to go or something. ;)

yeah i must agree with the other poster.... hope is not lost for you!!!
keep on trying. i personally was able to get all the rest. i wanted, just not the exact times i was hoping for! :confused3 i dont really have the time to call back every couple days to check. so im just going with what ive got and it is what it is ... the food is FREE so dont stress too much, youre still going to the happiest place on earth and with a GOOD deal! :woohoo:

pretty much everyone is in your predicament ;) keep trying and if it doesn't work out, enjoy the other restaurants around the World. not being able to eat somewhere is not going to ruin a trip :)

I would say to try two things:

1) Don't give up...a couple of weeks ago Disney opened up a bunch of September ADR's at Le Cellier and this week they did the same for 1900 PF. Try again in a week or 2 as I'm sure some cancellations will be popping up

2) I would post on this thread (or at least subscribe to it), someone may have what you're looking for: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2189723. This thread was how I learned about the ADR's opening up for LC and 1900 PF (I was able to get both of these at the 90 day mark, but our plans changed and we really needed different dates/times for both and we finally got 'em!).

Good luck! :shamrock:

Thankyou for the suggestions.:thumbsup2

I know it won't ruin my trip in any way, and I am happy with what we do have.
I am a control freak, overplanner by nature, and I guess I need to let go of that and relax a bit.

We've had luck with calling for ADR's the morning we'd like to eat. I get up before everyone else and get ready, then make the call while everyone else gets up and around for the parks. It doesn't always work out in our favor, but it's a nice surprise when it does. :thumbsup2
