ADR for Restaurant Inside Theme Park...need ticket connected to MDE?

This is probably a very silly question and I'm guessing it has been answered elsewhere, but I'll be the idiot...

We are a family of 6, and to get an 8:00am ressie at Crystal Palace I had to break us into 4 and 2. The ressie for 4 is linked to my MDE account (which also has the resort and ticket links for all 6 of us), and to get the table for 2 I created a dummy MDE account that does not have any park tickets connected to it.

My question is...will Disney cancel an ADR for a restaurant inside a park if there's no ticket connected to it in MDE? I wouldn't think they could do that because theoretically a person could just walk up and buy tickets the day of, but then again I know that Disney does some quirky stuff and so I'm just being doubly sure that I won't run into trouble.

I think you are ok. Anybody can make dining reservations whether they stay on property or not - that being said - everyone doesn't buy tickets through Disney and they aren't all linked to MDE. Although With you having two reservations, you will probably be sat seperately and not together for your meal.

Thanks for confirming, that's what I thought. And thanks for the heads up about being seated separately, in our case it's not a problem.

If all 6 of you are listed in MDE then you can have both ressies in there.

I had to do this on Easter morning at Chef Mickey. I have a ressie for 3, 2 and 1. I was told to go to the podium 15 mins prior to my ressie and explain that we are one family and need to be seated together.
