We will be at the World in May (the week before Memorial Day) and there is one morning that we have off and I am thinking that we may want to go to another resort and have breakfast. Do you think I need to make an ADR or can we just show up and get a table... with minimal wait? We would probably be eating at around 10:00 and not on a real schedule this morning!

I would err on the side of certainty by scheduling an ADR. My vote would be for Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary.

You won't be able to do this any earlier than 180 days out but should have your pick of the litter when you do start calling. A word of caution though, if you are NOT staying onsite, you will only be able to park for 3 hours at any resort. This policy was recently enacted as non-resort guests were claiming to be either visiting the resort or eating a meal there when in fact, they were disapearing to a park for the day and avoiding the parking fee.

We have an ADR for CM the day that we leave! It sounds like a lot of fun. I am thinking that I (... I mean "we") will want to eat at Kona that day. The problem is that we are probably doing the P&PP the night before (assuming that is why it is closing at 7:00) and will want to sleep in and not be rushed. So if we show up at Kona's on a THursday at aroudn 10:00-10:30 should there be a long wait???

The wait times at Kona are average of any non-character restaurant in WDW, but I would make an ADR. We were there in July, and needed our ADR's to get in. :)
