Hi All,
There is probably a thread on this someplace, but I haven't been able to get the search to work for two days. Sorry!

We will be a group of 6 adults, 3 Juniors, and 1 child for a total of 10. We were thinking about having Dinner at Boma and 'Ohana, and probably the princess lunch at Norway.

Are there Disney restaurants that can/can not accomodate a group of 10? What has your experience been with getting ADRs for a large group?
Also, I think I read someplace that they automatically add a tip for groups over 6? (We are paying out of pocket, not on the DDP). Thats fine, except for a full buffet like Boma when they only bring you drinks, that seems a bit much. Maybe we would be better off breaking into two smaller groups for that meal...

Thanks!
Jill

IN 1998 my family had a group of 10 and we also went to the Garden Grill which is in the area with Soarin and Circle of life. Another good one for groups (its family style buffet) is Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom. Its a character meal at Dinner. Have fun!

i just went with a group of 10 in dec & we had NO problems with our group size....i think there are LARGER groups that go there...so they are used to it.

GL & have fun!!

Hi Jill:
I handled most of the ADR's for our grand gathering of 21 back in February. We dined at Boma and the dining room is set up well to accommodate larger groups; as well as 'Ohana (ask for tables near the window to see the Wishes fireworks if you are dining later). What I found helpful was making early ADRs for dinner - when the restaurants are just opening, it's easier to put tables together for a larger group, versus later during peak dining times, and having to wait for tables to become available. Have fun! Sherri

We also have 3 kids, 1 junior, and 6 adults in our group! We are going on 6/17-6/27 and I made our ADRs last week.

Here is what we are doing:
Fri 6/20 -- 7:15pm -- Dinner at Ohana at the Polynesian Resort for 10 people

Sat 6/21 -- 8:35am -- Breakfast at Tusker House (character dining) at the Animal Kingdom for 6 people -- they don't have bigger tables but I figure some people won't want to wake up early

Sun 6/22 -- 5:35pm -- Dinner at Chef Mickey's for 10 people

Mon 6/23 -- 7pm -- Dinner at Restaurant Marakesh in Epcot for 10 people

Tues 6/24 -- 12pm -- Lunch at Hollywood & Vine (character dining) in MGM Disney Studios for 7 people (that's the biggest table they have)

Wed 6/25 -- 1:05pm -- Lunch at Akershus in Norway in Epcot (Princess character dining) for 9 people only (that's the biggest table they have)

Thurs 6/26 -- 5:30pm -- Dinner at Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for 10 people

So they would not do a party of 10 all at one table at Tusker House, Hollywood & Vine, or Akershus. There may be other restaurants, but those are the ones I asked about that didn't have tables for 10.

Good luck!
JULIE
