Morning everyone! I have booked our tix for MNSSHP on Halloween night and I am able to book a dining reservation for this night from tomorrow, can anybody recommend anywhere good to eat in MK as I know it will be mad busy (me and my dd are vegetarian) We are on the DDP.
I would be inclined to go to Crystal Palace as you will find plenty on the buffet , it can get crazy busy so if you want a nice sit down table service, I would go to , the wave, some nice veggie dishes on the menu and just a monorail trip away
In my opinion, sitting down at a restaurant when you have MNSSHP is a total waste of money and waste of time.
Holloween day might also be packed.
For our MNSSHP we'll probably settle for a dog at casey's around 5 or 6 and survive through the rest of the party on popcorn and pop tarts.
I'd probably use my DDP TS credit for a good lunch, and my CS credit for dinner.
There might be lots of people waiting in line for CS, I just can't imagine how crazy it might get at TS
I know that's not what you ask for, but that's my own 2 cents
Totally agree with chmurf, I just couldn't pay £35-40 a ticket to get into the party and then sit 2 hours eating a meal, Columbia Harbor House doesn't open for MNSSHP nights so we eat at Pecos Bills, just a quick bite and then back out to the party.
For TS there is not much in MK, only one we like is Liberty Tree Tavern, any of the hotels on the Monorail route would be easy to do.
Whenever we have been to MNSSHP we have always eaten at the Plaza. We find the service there is quite quick and, while not rushed, it means we do get a nice TS meal without it taking too much of the party time. It's probably not the best 'bang for your buck' on the Dining Plan but (in my opinion) neither is a buffet. We love the Plaza as the food is simple yet delicious.
Usually, we arrive early (it used to be the earliest you could get in on your MNSSHP ticket was 4pm but we haven't been for a couple of years so that may have changed) and have a dinner ADR for around 5pm. Get a couple of rides in before dinner, then eat and be ready for when the party gets going (which, of course, isn't really till they get rid of all the non-party-goers at 7).
Not doing MNSSHP, but have an ADR that night at Ohana - Did this 2 years ago on and had a great view of the fireworks, and the soundtrack is piped into the restaurant...
Thank u for all your ideas, I will have a good look and hopefully book for lunch and grab somthing quick in the evening might be easier by phone as I read a few of you had problems online!
We are doing MNSSHP on 2nd Nov. We have booked Liberty Tree Tavern for 4.30, hoping we will be out by 6.30, in time for the party. The idea is to have a late breakfast and a lazy morning, followed by getting ready and then out for the whole evening.
We are doing something similar for MVMCP but we will go to Chef Mickey's for 4.30 and then head over to the party.
Hi Juliette, looks like we are travelling the same day? We are flying from Manchester 30th Oct 11.00 staying at Saratoga, wanting to book mvmcp for the 9th Dec but need to save a bit longer (booked another sneaky week end of June)
