ADR For Dummys?

Hey Guys/Gals,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a thread that talks about ADR's? We have never done a ADR but would like to for our first trip this july. Before I start posting a bunch of "dumb" and "already asked questions" I figured I would ask if anyone knows of a FAQ or website that explains ADR's? I tried using the search function and didn't find much. Thanks for everyones help!
