ADR for Castle, 180 tomorrow - any hope?

Did I mess myself up by not knowing ahead of time about the +10 for resort guests? We have not booked our room yet, and just learned that resort guests could have booked ADR's 10 days earlier.

I really want Cindy's Castle, and tomorrow is 180 days to the 1st day of our trip.

I just today learned we could book an ADR online, I have been reading the Unofficial Guide (2011) for WDW w/Kids and it said nothing about making ADR's online.

So are my chances slim to none for dining at the Castle, since others may have booked them 10 days earlier? (does this make any sense at all?)

I'm planning to try at 6am tomorrow online, but without a resort ressie.(yikes better get to bed).

Call or get online asap tomorrow....if the castle is booked, consider Akershus in Epcot. And, keep calling if you can't get it b/c someone might cancel. Good luck!

You will get it, end of October right? Not the most busy time of year. Should be fine.

Resort guest don't get to book 10 days earlier, they just get to book the first 10 days of their trip at 180 days from their arrival. So if you don't have a resort reservation you can make ADRs 180 days from the reservation you are making. So tomorrow you can make ADRs for Oct. 24 or earlier.

So if you can't get an ADR tomorrow, consider booking your resort so you can book later in your trip. It will save you getting up early each day trying to get an ADR.

You do have a shot! A little tip - you can begin booking an hour earlier online than you can by calling. Dining phone lines open up at 7:00 a.m. EST, so you can try to book online starting at 6:00 a.m. EST. If you decide to call in, program the number in your phone ahead of time so all you'll need to do is hit redial if you get a busy signal. And start calling at 6:58 a.m.

Yay, there were 2 times available, 9:15 and 9:55 (I think). I chose 9:15, which is perfect. That's our first day, and with 3 young kids and taking Disney transportation, I wouldn't have wanted to try for any earlier even if it were available.

Thanks for your support everyone! That was the one main ADR I wanted to make. I'll fill in the rest when we figure out which days we'll be at which parks.

Now I'm going back to bed...

Glad you got it! I went all crazy and opted for an 8:05 ADR on our first day. We will be exhausted by noon, but it'll be a good excuse to get out of the heat.
