ADR for 6 but only 5 show up?

I'm planning a disney trip for 5 for this January and my 180 day is fast approaching. Five of us are going for sure, but it's possible that my BIL's gf will also come, making us a party of six. Right now whether she can come or not is kind of up in the air, and we likely won't know for sure until well past the 180 day mark. If she is able to come, We will end up being a party of six instead of five messing up my ADRs!!

Can I make ADRs for six anyway just to play it safe? Will they still seat us if only 5 people show up for a ADR that was meant for 6? Can I even make ADRs at the 180+10 mark for 6 if its linked to my ressie that is clearly for 5 people at this point in time? I REALLY don't want to screw up my hardworking and planning just to get ADR screwed bc one person needs to get added later on.

Make them for 6. It doesn't matter how many people are on your reservation. You will also not be charged a $10 no-show fee if you only show up with 5 people. Have fun!

The reservation only gets you access to the "+10" part of making ADRs, but it won't affect how many people are in the ADR party. YOu can make your reservation for more or less people if necessary.

You can make reservations for the maximum number of people possible in your party and you won't get charged the no shows for the folks that don't show up as long as someone shows up. It's easier to show up with a smaller party than it is to show up with a larger party. (Note: I don't know what happens at the pre-paid meals (e.g., CRT) and dinner shows (e.g., HDDR).)
