We have a bit of time before I can even book ADRs but planning them is so much fun! :thumbsup2

Anyway, we're doing a land/sea in 2012 and I am trying to plan our meals. We are doing DxDP - sit down breakfasts, mostly grab a snack for lunch and we'd like to do a few signature dinners.

So, we REALLY love Flying Fish and Kona! We have room for another signature and I am undecided. We tried Yachtsman last trip and liked it quite a bit, but was thinking of trying Cali Grill, Citricos or Narcoosees.

I am also unsure of Biergarten. :confused3 My mother loves German food so I am going there mainly to satisfy her... hoping the rest of us will enjoy it too!

I did not make it to Starring Rolls last time (blasphemy!). I wanted to include restaurants we really liked and add some new ones this time, too.

Narcoossee's is my favorite Signature. The whole steamed lobster was really good. The surf and turf was also really good. The calamari was nice and crispy and the crab cakes had good texture and lots of crab meat. If you time it right, you can see both the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes from your table (if no one blocks your view and you have a table with a view) or from the veranda outside.

California Grill is also really good. The sushi was good. The spicy kazan roll was really spicy, but it's all in the sauce that they pour into the center of the roll. The CA roll is pretty standard. The filet and snapper were both cooked really well and tasted good. As with Narcoossee's, you can watch Wishes from the observation deck (or your table if you're lucky). The view from the observation deck was really good.

Sadly, we weren't that impressed with Citricos. The food tasted good, but the service was having an off night. The kitchen and the wait staff were not in sync because one entree was brought out cold and it took a really long time between courses. We averaged about two hours for a Signature dinner, but Citricos took about three hours. You can't really see any of the fireworks from the resturant.

Hmmm - we aren't huge fans of sushi, though I know they have other stuff. Maybe we'll have to try Narcoossee's this time around. DD isn't a huge fan of fireworks so watching them from a restaurant may be the perfect answer!

Huge fan of Narcoossee.. We loved every bit of our experience there.. it bite we ate was delicous.. Have you thought about Artist point or Jiko? Both places get high reviews consistently..
I have wanted to do beigarten for the experience.. but, lately the food hasn't gotten the best reviews.. what about Rose and Crown or La Hacienda or Via Napoli all in Epcot?? Or maybe try something in Downtown Disney..
I loved doing DDXP.. It gives you SO many options..
