I just booked Tony's at 7:10p on a night they are having MNSSHP at 7. Obviously, we plan on being at MK that day, but we aren't going to the party. I noticed the reservation says "Please note that this reservation occurs during a special event that requires the purchase of a separate admission ticket", but if we are already in the park around close, will we be able to go to dinner and then leave the park??

Thanks!

You have to have a ticket to the party to dine at 7 or later. So you will either need to change your reservation or buy a party ticket.

I was told on the phone by the representative that if you don't have Halloween tickets, you have to leave the park by 6:00 p.m. that day. So technically, you won't still be in the park.

Good question though. I bet there are a lot of people that this is happening to.

You don't have to leave the park until 7 PM - the CM on the phone was incorrect in that aspect.

In order to be served they will ask to see your wristband. If you do not have a wristband you will be given the option of purchasing (if the party is not sold out) or they will escort you out of the park as it is officially closed at 7pm.

short answer: No

Being in the park won't help...they will ask to see your party wristband when you check in for the reservation. That is why the reservation had the special notice on it that you must have party admission during that time.

We went to MNSSHP last year, and not only were they turning people without wristbands from restaurant check-in, they wouldn't even sell merchandise in the stores to people without the wristbands, just a few minutes after official park-closing time. Saw several very upset groups outside the Castle being turned away, and I was behind a very angry woman in line at a shop in Fantasyland...it was only 7:05 and she had been shopping in the store for at least 10 minutes - so started shopping before the park actually closed, but they would not allow her to purchase the stuff she'd picked out because she did not have a party wristband on when she went to check out after the park closed...a group of CMs came into the store to "escort" her out of the park. They do enforce the wristband requirement for the parties.

Good to know...thanks! I had no idea. From attending parties in the past though, I'm glad to see they enforce the wristband rule. It would be annoying to pay all that money and see people getting the same services for free.

Guess I will cancel Tony's and stick with The Wave. After reading all the bad reviews for the Wave, I'm a little scared but it looks like we don't have much of a choice!

Thanks again...

this was us exactly last yr in Dec. during a christmas party- we were at MK all day, had ADR at CRT for 710- it was a madhouse!! We were up at the castle a little after 7 , checked in, had our meal and then all guests who did not have a ticket for the party were escorted out by the CRT hostesses- it was the last seating of the night. I would call and check - we were asked for wristbands trying to cross the bridge from tomorrowland towards the castle. i told them we had ADr at castle (had my #s out just in case), and they let us through, maybe it is a new thing, but we were never asked at CRT to show a band or anything in order to check in, have our pic with Cinderella taken or be served.
