ADR - decreasing # eating

All our ADRs are for 9 people. However, some are not able to go now. Is it a problem to reduce the amount of people eating? Will this cause me problems with all my ressies?

I have the same issue. We are going from 11 + infant to 9. I called the other day and they said it shouldn't be a problem, even for the credit card reserved ressies. I was even encouraged to wait until I was absolutely sure that the other 3 weren't going because you can change the # up to 2 hours before the ADR. I am going to change the # as soon as it is changed with AAA.

No, not a problem. Just tell them at the podium when you arrive at the restaurant that you have less people. You will not be charged for locations with a CC guarentee as long as someone (even 1 person) shows up.

There is an exception to this: If you have any pre-paid reservations (dinner shows, or CRT), call to remove the extra people ahead of time to get a refund.

I have the opposite problem. I made a ressie but didn't include my DS who is only 1. Do you think it will be a huge problem for us to show up with an extra guest?

No I dont think it will be a problem. We brought one more to a couple of restaurants and they let us in no problem. Especially since he is only 1.
