These are all reserved, but I've been doing some tweeking and before I say "It's done!" just wanted a last opinion:
Three people (myself, DH, and DD6) from Nov 3-11, arriving at 2:30 PM on the 3rd and departing too early to TS on the 11th. DD6 loves character meals and Princesses, DH loves unique dining venues but is very meat and potatoes, Me loves SEAFOOD. We will be using park transportation so we don't want to travel to too many resorts, and are staying (for now!) at Pop, but may angle to CSR if the price is right closer to when we leave. DH will be travelling in ECV and can walk short distances so accessability is a minor concern. Will be on DP, and we tend to spend the most time at Epcot.
11/3 - CR @ 6PM. Has anyone eaten here since they simplified the menu (no lobster
) and what did they think of the current offerings? This used to be my favorite restaurant but now I am worried. Would consider changing this one for a WS restaurant and instead hit it for just the bisque and a snack for a mid-day walk-in when we get to the park.
11/4 - Whispering Canyon @ 2:30 PM. Should we plan on being at MK that day for the boat or is the bus system very efficient to the hotel? If taking a bus is there a particular park we should avoid for long commute times? Does the hotel run a bus to Epcot or do you have to use a combo monorail/boat system? Does anyone strongly reccomend dinner over lunch for any reason?
11/5 - Cindy's Breakfast @ 8AM. Non-EMH day. One of the first into the park, baybee!
We know the food is boring and it's two TS, but DH insists on eating in the Castle. However, on the bottom of our printed DP list it says photo package offerings are not included. Does the 2 TS points include the photo with Cindy or do we have to pay separately for that?
11/6 - Sci-Fi @1:30 PM. Another "DH will kill me if I change from his favorite restaurant".
11/7 - Garden Grille @ 1:30 PM.
11/8 - CP breakfast @ 10:05 AM
11/9 - Storybook Dinner, Akershus @ 6:05 PM. I know, kind of doubles Cindy's, but here's hoping we get a unique rotation between the two. How is dinner for picky eaters (aka DH)?
11/10 - Rose & Crown @ 8 PM. Last seating before Illuminations. Is this too late to have any chance at an outside table? Should we book earlier? If we are not outside do they allow others out to the patio to watch the show? Will DH have any trouble seeing in his ECV?
Since we have 7 TS points left, (we'll be paying OOP for DD's meals except for Cindy's) I'm also going to try to get HDDMR. If we angle for the first show will we still make it to the campfire with C&D? I can't find a starting time for it, just "evenings".
