So meeting characters is our family's main enjoyment at WDW. So we got the dining plan and have many character meals for our trip. One of my questions is if Tusker House and Chef Mickeys have the exact same characters? I see different info everywhere. If they are exactly the same characters then we might do a Crystal Palace meal with Pooh instead.

Let me know what you think of this overall plan for meals and parks (keep in mind we have grandparents traveling with us for part of the trip, we have two girls ages 6 & 8, and are staying at Wilderness Lodge with Park hoppers)

Day 1
arrival day-- QS lunch at Roaring Fork, visit MK, do Whispering Canyon 730 pm ADR

Day 2
AM Animal Kingdom. Tusker House 11:50 lunch
PM Chip and Dale campfire/ QS dinner
MSEP 9 pm

Day 3
MK BOG lunch at 1130, possibly visit HS in afternoon, Kids and Grandparents Chef Mickey dinner at 7 pm, DH and I at Artist Point 8 pm

Day 4
Epcot QS or F&W snacks for lunch, Chefs de France dinner

Day 5
Sleep in, get princess costumes on
Cinderellas Royal Table 12:55
Columbia Harbour house or other QS dinner
MNSSHP

Day 6
Ohana breakfast 9 am
Visit Hollywood studios
Depart WDW

Thanks!

Right off the bat, on day 2 I believe the Campfire and MSEP will conflict. I think you need to choose one or the other

Thanks! I thought that campfire was at 7 or so and MSEP at 9 so that we'd have time. I guess I'll have to confirm the times on that.

At Chef Mickey, you get Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald. At Tusker House it's Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Goofy. (At least those are the line ups I remember off the top!) So they're not exactly the same but very close. Food is 100% at Tusker House though and we even prefer the atmosphere much more than Chef Mickey.

One I might suggest you fill in (maybe instead of Chef Mickey??) is 1900 Park Fare. I've never done breakfast there, but we did dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the best character interaction I've seen at any meal! It's Cinderella, the Prince, Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters. Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters are absolutely hysterical and well worth the price of admission!!

If your focus is characters, I'd definitely think about adding that one in!

I thought of 1900 Park Fare but thought it might be too much like CRT? But if it's the only one with the stepsisters sounds like it'll be worth it. thanks!!

Loved tusker house dinner and 1900 park fare breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was Alice, mad hatter (kids enjoyed, I found him annoying) Mary poppins, pooh and tigger. Dinner was Cinderella, price charming, step sisters and step mother. Lots of fun. I really enjoy the character meals too.
