ADR Changes/Problems

Ok so after endless calls trying to add another person to our ADRs and only having a couple to try and add....I called tonight to finish up the changes and confirm what I'd had done. I'm between fuming and tears right now...

It started off on the wrong foot right from the get go. The girl answered right away but I couldn't understand her-she talked much too quickly. I asked her to repeat her name a couple of times but still counldn't get it so I gave up.:confused3

We started on my first reservation-Crystal Palace for 9/18. They never canceled my original ressie for 4 at 8:25. They had our new ressie for 5 at 10:10 but also had us booked for 1:10 for 5 people. I eneded up having to cancel all of our CP ressies because I need to keep our Chef Mickeys that I can only get at 1:00 for 5 of us.

They also didn't have the changes made to include 5 people...:headache: So I'm trying to to get those changes made.

After being on the phone for over half an hour, she put me on "hold" and put me to the survey...I'm not saying it was intentional or not but I'm ticked to say the least!

After calling back and speaking with Nancy on the second call, she went through and confirmed that there were no other character breakfasts available for what we needed. So I asked to go through again with what I had booked. This time, there's NO CMs booked-the ressie # doesn't work and it's not under our phone number or room ressie #. This is the ONLY "must eat" place while we're there as we're going to try and eat there every trip. Needless to say, I went from mad and frustrated to now crying...:sad1: On top of it, CMs is booked solid the entire time we're there so I can't even move it to another day/time. :sad2:

So here's what I'm left with at this point:

9/17 Check in
9/18 NOTHING-cancelled CP (kicking myself now for that!!!) and CM was cancelled for me I guess....it was there on the first call because the girl commented on having a CM ressie at 1:00 and a CP at 1:10. :headache:
9/19 Tusker House 8:00 for 4 people-I'm so showing up and saying it's for 5 and there was a mistake after all of this...sorry for those showing up the same day.:rolleyes: We've also got Tony's Town Square at 4:30 but only for 4...still showing up with 5. :guilty:
9/20 Coral Reef at 4:20-could only get a spot booked for 4. I've already spoken with Debbie and she's aware that there are 5 of us and has already confirmed it will be ok with all of us and easier for her to change it instead of trying to get a new ressie as we've got the diver, personalized menus and a custom cake all taking place at that meal.
9/21 LTT at 2:30. I may cancel this as DMIL will already be on a plane going back to MI and they don't have characters at lunch I was told by the CM on the phone the first time. :confused3

I'm so upset with Disney right now I could almost just cancel the trip...:mad: I'm sure they wouldn't care as they'd save money on paying for my dining and someone else would snatch up my room but that doesn't make it any better for me.

Thanks for letting me vent. I'm praying for patience and pixie dust on my lunch hours for the next 2 weeks while I call and try to make reservations at CMs. I don't care about the rest so long as I use all of my meal credits. Maybe I'll try the GFC or something for the 19th-of course with my luck, they're booked too and you can only eat at counter service places the entire time we're there. I seriously want to poke someone's eyes out right now....ugh! Now I've got to calm down so I can go to bed...what a weekend!
 
I would call back and speak with a manager. Disneydine and IMACM both say that the CM's who make changes to our reservations leave trails.

Not that you would, but make sure that you don't take your frustrations out the manager. They didn't cancel your reservation, but hopefully they can help you get one back.

I am sorry you had a crummy CM who did that to you. :hug:
 
I'm so sorry you went through this. I had a VERY similar experience recently where I spoke to a VERY rude CM who refused to listen to me tell her that I had a lot of reservations because I am planning a GG for 19 people. When I finally lost all patience I asked her to put me through to a manager at the GG department, and she "somehow" disconnected me. I called right back and my reservations were GONE................ I cried while the very nice CM AND her manager helped me recreate about 30 reservations. Of course, some of my favorites were already gone. They felt terrible for me, and were sincere about investigating the previous CM.

I just let go of the rest and consoled myself with the fact that I'm still going to DISNEY and my dining is free!

It sucks, but I'm still grateful that there were nice people to help me out. Don't let this bad experience ruin all of the wonderful ones that Disney offers.
 
It's issues like this that make me wonder if "Disney" is cracking down on double ADR's (or ones that appear to be double) or if it's disgruntled CM's who get mad and just cancel stuff.

Regardless, I still think you should call and get a manager. Every CM leaves a trail and if CM's are just randomly doing this they should be dealt with.
 

Thanks guys! I appreciate the help! I thought about calling back but was too upset at that point to do any good. We're leaving for the rest of the week due to Hanna but I may have time to call on the drive out of town if traffic's slow or something like that. If not, for sure when I get back in town!

As for deleting double ressies or it being the CM, the system sure didn't delete mine that I didn't know I had!! (1:00 at CMs-which I wanted!, and 1:10 at CP-didn't know I had)
