I'll be in WDW the last week of Septmeber. Does anyone know how hard it is to get ADRs during that timeframe right now? I will be on the DDP, as I know many, many, many other people will be, and at this last stage, is it going to be near impossibel to secure reservations? I'm willing to eat at odd hours, so I'm hoping that may help a bit.

Thanks for any input you can provide.

That is the same time I'm going. The super-popular restaurants (Le Cellier, Coral Reef, etc.) are probably all booked by now...we made our reservations just after the 180 day mark and were only able to eat at Le Cellier at 4 in the afternoon!! However, there are PLENTY of restaurants with availability still. Look through the menus and make a *long* list of places you're like to try. Be flexible with the times and you will be just fine. Make the ressies asap though.

I read here on the boards (although I do not know if it is true) that sometimes there are more seats that are made available at 90 days. Not sure if anyone else can confirm if they have found that to be true.

Just call and see what you can get (sooner than later!), and keep calling back if there is something that you really want to change. People cancel and change ADR's all the time.

I have heard also that LeCellier will probably not have any dinner reservations that whole week. I called in April and got the only one left for that day and it is 7:50 pm. We are going 9/22 - 9/29 for free dining

I called back at the beginning of April and LeCellier was already fully booked for dinner the last week of Sept. had to go with lunch instead.

I tried changing a couple of my ADR last month and had a hard time getting reasonable times since we have small kids.

I'd call soon if I was you and be flexible on choices and times.

We will be there from 9/22-9/29.

I called yesterday morning (6/8/07) for all my my ADR. I got into all of my ADR around the time frame I requested on all the days I requested. However, we choose later times for dinner (7:00-7:30). The CM on the phone did mention that the reason I was having such luck is because of the off dinner time I was choosing. She said a lot of the normal dinner hours (5-6pm) were booked.

She also mentioned that Le Cellier (not that I wanted it.. we want to try places we have never ate at this trip) was booked the entire week we were there for all of dinner hours.

I have had most of our ADRs for the week of Sept 22-29 since the 180 day mark, however, I have called back a few times and moved soem stuff around as well as added a few.

I would say as long as you don't have your heart set on something like LeCellier for dinner, you should be fine. I would call soon though and try to set some meals up. It can be very tricky trying to get ADRs while you are at WDW during free dining as some people aren't very good about cancelling ADRs that they aren't using (not me but we heard several servers complain about no-shows last year.)

You should do fine if you have more than a restaurant in mind and can be flexible. I will be going the second week :cool1: and already made my ADRs. These ones were very hard to get: Ohana (got it at 4:15pm), Le Cellier (1:50pm), Liverty Tree (first I got a 5pm but I kept calling and got a 7pm) and California Grill. This last one took like 5 minutes to the CM to get me a table but finally have one at 6:10pm.
These were a piece of cake: Nine Dragons, Spoodles, Chef Mickey's. I got them when I wanted them.
So call now (well, tomorrow) and have several restaurants in mind. If you can't get what you want, have an alternative and keep calling. You might get lucky...pixiedust:
Just don't forget to cancel a reservation if you make a new one.

Same here going Sept 21-29 staying at POP
Make sure you get your ADR's ASAP, last year we also went the last week in Sept. did our ADR's last year about mid June (didn't get everything we wanted but what we got wasn't bad)
Lucky we got the ADR's as we waited after checking into the restaurants ,usually only 5-15 min, they turned away all walk ups that I saw.
So make your ADR's now. Also best to have the hopper option with the park tickets , you can start out at one park early then later in the day hop to the park with your lunch or dinner ADR.:thumbsup2

Do them asap. I called just a few days ago and got Kona at the time I wanted. I called today and got Ragland Road for the desired time too. :thumbsup2
