OK, have a trip booked for October. to make a long story short, we will have the money for our WDW trip in about 3 weeks. I'm seriously considering moving the trip up because I'm rethinking me missing school (I'm a college student) for 3 days mid semester. I would ideally like to go at the end of May instead, and suprise DD's.

So, anybody trying to change ADR's or book them right now and having problems? Just wondering how hard it would be to get ADR's. It would be a 6 or 7 night stay.

Would like (in order of importance) 'Ohana dinner, Chef Mickey dinner preferred, PSB breakfast and then if we can get it Coral Reef, Crystal Palace breakfast.

You know what, I just remembered i can check this online myself...:headache:
But I would love to hear opinions anyway. And if anybody is interested, i'll repost later and see the end result.

I booked CRT a week ago for the first week of June and moved half my adrs and did not compromise anything. I think it easier when it is not a free dinning time.

I just booked 8 ADR's today and was offered two different times on just about all of them. We are going May 26-June 2nd. :thumbsup2

Also, we booked Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys, Coral Reef, Hoop De Doo, Sci Fi Drive In, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Park Fare, and afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian.

just booked our May trip for 22nd-29th; no trouble making reservations at the places we wanted which are Ohana, Le Cellier, Flying Fish, Kona, Sanaa and Teppan Edo :)

As a college professor and mid-May WDW lover, I say go for it!

Thanks alot for all your help. I checked online and went ahead and booked dining, just in case. ;)I really think we'll change IF I can convince DH. Looking at checking in May 22 and out on May 28. IF we can do this this, the timing will be awesome. My kids last day of school will be Friday May 21. My DD's 7th birthday will be Sunday May 23. It would be a total suprise!! Check out of school and off to WDW!!

Anyway, I looked online and here's what I booked. I was suprised, times aren't exactly what I wanted but not horrible either. Don't know about DDP or not, if not will probably only do PSB, 'Ohana and Chef Mickey.

5-23 8:25 am PSB at Akershus for DD's 7th bday!!!:cheer2:
5-24 8:55 pm 'Ohana
5-25 8:15 am Crystal Palace
5-26 5:25 pm Cape May Cafe buffet
5-27 7:45 pm Chef Mickey's
5-28 9:10 am Whispering Canyon Cafe

I know many people take kids out of school for a trip, but in our case it would be easier for them to miss than for me to miss, especially since our fall break in October is the week after DD's. :headache: And while many professors understand the quandry I'm in, many don't. And DH can't take off the week I'm out of class.

I'm fully aware that I will miss material covered in class, have no problem turning in assignements in early, or at their convenience etc but the test policies are stringent and I really can't stomach the thought of missing, and getting a zero, on an exam.:scared1:

So, May would be better all around. Now I just have to cross my fingers, hope that Dh's promised overtime comes through, and then convince him.
