ADR at Chef Mickey question

I have an ADR for Chef Mickey's for 4 people on Sunday Dec. 6 at 7:35 - trouble is, we now have 5 in our party. My step-DD decided to join us, so... I've called and called, and tried online, but can't get her added to our ressie.

Has anyone ever had success showing up for an ADR with an extra person, and getting them seated with you as a walk-in?

Or, does anyone have any tips on how to get her added?

If we can't add her, and if its unlikely that she can be seated as a walk-in, I guess we'll have to cancel, but its our kids favorite place, and we were going to celebrate our son's 5th birthday there, so I'm really hoping there's a way...

I have never had a problem when we showed up with one more person. We have had a family member join us unexpectedly several times and we just ask at check in if there will be a problem adding one more. We know that there is always a chance that we would be turned away and were okay with that, if it was impossible then that was our problem.

That's great to hear, thank you! I will keep the ADR then, and hope they can seat her with us. And if not, we'll leave gracefully, lol.
