ADR Anxiety!!

My name is pinkerbell and I'm Disney OCD....
I also suffer from ADR Anxiety...

Who want's to join my support group

My closest countdown (one of many, when our flight's become available, when I can try for a specialty cruise... grand floridian photoshoot.... etc..) is booking my 180 day ADR's

I am seriously getting anxious about it!!!!
I think about it non stop.. when to call, which phone to use... what to do with the kids!!!!
anyone else out there share my symptoms???

Hi, my name is GatorLady and my DH says I need an intervention.

I don't know what he's talking about. I have only been obsessively planning our trip for months now. Second guessing my ADR's and spending countless hours on the DISboards so I don't miss any little tidbit of information that might make all the difference in our vacation... what's wrong with that?? I don't understand................ please someone make the room stop spinning.....

I would have joined if you had started this a few days ago. We made all our our ADR's over the weekend. After a lot of planning and the agreement not to change anything once there were made! Our biggest problem was the dogs barking while on the phone Just relax and remember you are going on vacation to the best place in the world

Pinkerbell, I understand. Tomorrow I've promised myself I'll finalize a list. Please, sign me up for the support group-I have serious ADR anxiety. I'm always glad to hear/share suggestions on possible places to eat.

I am the same way. I look at the ADR schedule I have planned at least a dozen times a day. I am making my own planning book, which if it is like the last one will be around 400 pages. That way when my DH and I are sitting on our balcony at night, we can go over over menus the next day. I have bought each of my DS's a Disney Dream Book, and will prob buy another planning book. Actually I had all the restaurants chosen before this last Christmas (2007). I can tell you which park we are going to every day and where we will eat every meal. When I go to sleep at night it takes me 1 - 2 hours to go to sleep b/c as soon as my head hits the pillow my mind starts working on planning stuff. We have 8 months and 13 days until our trip, and ONLY 2 months and 16 days until I can make our ADR's. I just hope I get all the ADR's I want!
I want to book the photo shoot as well. Do we do it with just the boys or all of us? I don't know and it changes from day to day. I'm hoping that they have they Poly added by our trip.
Then there is the Candlelight Processional. I already have a night planned for it and the restaurant I want to go to. However, what happens if I don't know/like the person that is the narrator that night? Will it still be as magical if I'm sitting trying to figure out who the person is, or if I can't stand them?
We can stress together.

I was the same way before I made my ADR's earlier this month I had a million what if questions running through my mind. I called on my 180 day mark at 7am and got everything I wanted. I even called back a few times to change some ADR's ( I also suffer from obsessive over planning and anxiety ) and was able to get whatever I wanted. So don't worry it will go just fine

I too got ALL my ressies... even LeCellier!!! I still have a few more days to get (stay is over 11 days) and I have been calling every morning at 7 SHARP!.. but if you do this... you can get your desired ressies!!!!

and remember if you think of something after you make all the ADR's you can always call to change them.

Now that I live close, I rarely make an ADR more than 10 days out.. usually I am making them in the morning for the evening of the same day.

I too got ALL my ressies... even LeCellier!!! I still have a few more days to get (stay is over 11 days) and I have been calling every morning at 7 SHARP!.. but if you do this... you can get your desired ressies!!!!

Way to go!!! Glad you got what you wanted, good luck with the rest and have a wonderful trip!!!

Congrats! I know it's hard to get it together that early in the morning , thankfully the CM's seem to be use to people half awake.
