ADR After the park is closed??????

I was lucky enough to crab an adr for 7:10pm at CRT. I just realized that the MK closes at 7:00 for MVMCP! Is this going to cause a problem????

I am pretty sure that you need to have a party ticket & wristband to go to a table service restaurant once the party has started.

You will need party tickets to go to the ADR. They should have told you when you booked. ADR after party time need a party ticket. I would try to call and change it. Even if you could move it up a half hour you would be fine.

What if I am in the park before the party starts? I usually check in 45 minutes early so I will be checking in at 6:15ish. If I have already paid do you think they would turn us away?

This is a tough call.

If the adr time is shortly before the party begins, they are many reports that you are allowed to keep your adr but are escorted to the exit gates upon finishing your meal. You are not allowed to linger and shop, as when the park closes.

However, your adr isn't until "after" the party begins......this could pose a very big issue. They could deny your reservation without a party ticket.

You are taking a big risk with CRT being a CC hold. If they don't allow you to dine, you will be charged anyway as a no show. And it would be without you eating.

I would seriously not risk this.

I would say no. I'm not sure about CRT, but two years ago we had an ADR for Liberty Tree Tavern. There was a line to check in and a CM with a clip board telling everyone that if their reservation was for 7:00pm or later they would have to show their wrist bands for the party. Everyone else would have to leave and would not be able to stay and eat.

I would call and find out...if you don't have party tickets, they could refuse you entrance....and since it is charged to a CC....this could be a major problem for you....be on the safe side and call.

I finally just decided to change nights of our MVMCP to the night of our CRT. I do not want to take any chances.

I am glad you decided to change. We witnessed a pretty bad scene over this very issue outside Tony's last year. Someone had an adre for after 7, but not MVMCP tickets, and were told they wouldn't be seated unless they could show a wristband. They were being VERY nasty to the CM. We were in front of expo hall and still heard it.

Without a party wristband you are not allowed into anything (other than possibly restrooms) after 7:00. You will not be seated in any restaurant.

The fact that you may have prepaid for CRT does not matter, your reservation states that you must have valid Park Admission to eat at the restaurant and not having a party ticket (wristband) you will not have valid admission.

Does that hold then if you have an adr on MVMCP between 5 and 6pm and NO tickets to the party, you are ok for your adr?

Yes Jenny, you would be fine. The park does not close to day guests until 7pm. So if you had a reservation for 6:59pm, you'd be fine. If you had a reservation for 7:00pm and no party tickets, you wouldn't be fine.
