Admit it...

Our first stop was on our way to Disney World in 1983. I had a tight schedule but since the children (4 & 7) wanted to stop after reading all the signs, I agreed to make it a quick lunch stop. And you thought that Clark Griswald was a fictional character. The children had plenty of time to see everything while I waited and waited in line for lousy food. I have stopped several other times since then and have never failed to be disappointed. SOB is poor management in action. Where do they get their employees? The must hire unemployed field hands.

We love the signs, actually adds some spunk after a long ride down. Our DD's beg us to stop each and every time we drive past - they know by now it isn't going to happen - and at this point it has just become a game for them to keep pushing the issue!!

When Pedro says you never saw such a place, he was right on.

Ahh, but that billboard is my favorite..."you never sausage a place"

Eat there! I'm surprised some of you are alive to tell the tale! And it advertises "individual, locked, patrolled parking areas." They might as well say we told you so. Makes me want to re-read the fine print on the car insurance for the line that says "...acts of God or stops at Pedroland..."

Can I say that the food wasn't great, but it was edible. I have actually had worse food in other locations. My daughter thought it was fun and enjoyed shopping in the souvenir shop. We actually got some great dolphin mobiles and windsocks for her school. That is there mascot and they were cheap!
