I have it set so when my screen saver kicks in, you need a password to get back into my computer - does anyone know how I can change that password?

Thanks!!

It has to be the same password that you use to log onto your PC. If you want to change that:

Start - Control Panel - User Accounts
Highlight your user name
Click Reset Password

My DD's mac asked her for her password the first day she got it and she was in a panic trying to figure out what it was -- turns out that mac doesn't automatically set one up anymore and she just leaves the password space blank and proceeds. I don't know if this is relevant, but just in case.

That depends on the operating system you are running.

If it is Windows XP - then the screensaver password is the same as the password you use to log in to the computer.

If it is Windows 98/95 - then it is a seperate password. There must be a way to reset it if you have forgotten it, but I haven't used it in so long I forgot how. Hopefully someone here can help you.
