Administration Question

I have tried calling Administration, but can't seem to get through to a "live" person so I have left a message. I also sent an E-mail, but haven't got an answer. I figure I will probably be able to get an answer here first.

My parents and I are going in October and are planning on combining some points for a reservation. My father tried transfering his points into my account but their banked points so he can't. So, I need to transfer them into his account. The only problem with this is that he can't be available to make the reservation at the 11 Month Mark so he wants me to do it. Does anyone know how I can make a reservation with his account? Do I need to be added as an associate member? What is involved in doing this, how long does it take and is there a cost?

P.S. I know that I could make a few days and he could make a few days with his points and link them, but he needs to use an exact amount of 252 points so that wouldn't work.

If he trusts you with his membership number, you can probably just make the reservation for him thru MS. They will ask for the member # and the name- if you provide their number and his name, you shouldn't have to do anything else. That would be a lot simpler than adding a name, but that could be done easily also.

Doc, I guess I never really thought of that! I could just say that I am my mom when I call.

He can also add you as an associate member to his account.

Dean, do you know what the process is to add someone as an associate member? Is there a cost involved? and, How long does it take?

The member just has to call. I don't recall if MS can do it or if you need to go through Administration.
