Completed my online check-in and I thought the requests we made were already selected but I later realized I was wrong. The selection was for adjoining rooms but we requested connecting rooms. The selection actually says "no connecting door". I just went in to edit my online check-in but there is NO option for connecting rooms! Why? Do I need to call GF to make sure they have my correct request? We are staying Sugar Loaf so do I call IPO or reservation line?

I have read connecting rooms is never guaranteed so I do understand that but I also want to make sure they have my request correct.

TIA!

adjoining means that there is no connecting door between the rooms. Adjoining rooms is a room close together, it might be right next door or across the hall but you will have to walk into the hallway to get to the other room. I would call and talk with someone just to make sure. Everyone will tell you that they are not guaranteed but they can do their best. Families with small children out numbering the adults get first preference. good luck

I called about this exact same issue this morning. I was told that because there is an adult in each room, they are not able to select connecting room. However, when we check in we are to make them aware that this is our wish. Let's hope that is correct! It is annoying to me that it say no connecting door because I want he connecting door! It would make our trip SO much easier!

1. Call the Reservations Line and ask that this request be added to your reservation
2. Call or email your resort IPO and communicate your preference, they may be able to arrange this for you in advance

Best of luck!

I did call the reservation line and they told me the only option was the make it adjoining and I could request connecting upon arrival. What is IPO?

The only option *online* is adjoining. You can request connecting via the phone. But - it is just a request so you might not get it. Unfortunately, the phone people usually aren't even at Disney World but could be states away so they don't know. Call again and politely ask that the connecting room request be added to your reservation.

IPO is itinerary planning office. They help club level with requests and ADRs. OP, we put most things like this through the IPO and they just take care of it. Never failed us yet.
