i know adjoining villas are never guaranteed but I am curious is there such a thing as adjoining two bedroom villas? My husband and I are looking to go to Disney with two other families. We don't have enough points for most three bedroom villas but we would for two two bedroom villas and it would be nice to have the extra space. Does anybody know if there is such a thing as adjoining two bedroom villas or even one and two bedroom villas. I think our other alternative would be to book three studio villas. Again is it even possible to get three together? Just trying to figure out our options.

No, I don't believe what you're looking for exists.

You may luck into getting a couple of rooms next to each other in a block, but that's very slim.

The vast majority of two bedrooms are adjoining, but not connecting. That is, they share a wall, but they don't connect internally. I'm not sure if that's what you meant.

As mentioned, adjoining means next to each other in the resort. Connecting means you can open a door between the two rooms and act as though they are one big room. Studios and one bedrooms are what connect to make a 2 bedroom lock off in resorts that have this option. At Poly, you can get connecting studios. But those are the only connecting options!

There should at least be 2brs close to each other if not adjoining, and of course none connect. You would want to have MS note on both reservations that you are "traveling with xxxx" and would like to be located close to each other. Then cross your fingers that the room assignor sees the note and that things work out in the puzzle that is room assigning to get you villas close to each other. It would not be guaranteed though, just a request.

If you do traveling with or ask they be close, the usually will be but this cannot be guaranteed. If you don't have to be in the same villa, it's worth the risk. But you could go for a 3 BR where you have sufficient points and there are ways to stretch the points for a given trip. OKW will be the most favorable for a 3 BR as well as less points. SSR THV will be the cheapest overall if they work for your situation but they don't have the same capacity as a GV. Most GV are fairly close to the price of two 2BR villas. One other thing two 2BR does is give you the chance to save a few points AND get a specialty view. Such as at AKV for one of each standard & savannah tough some of these choices will pretty much guarantee they likely won't be close together.

We have been lucky using "traveling with," and I hope you are too!
