I know I should know this, but alas... I don't.
Can you book two adjoining studios (we own at AKL)? Are they a sure thing or something that they would just try to do for you at check in? Thinking it is much cheaper than a 2 bedroom and we don't need the kitchen.

There are no connecting studios. There may be some studios that adjoin (are next to each other without a connecting door), but you wouldn't be able to book or guarantee them.

Also remember you can't put the kids in one room and the parents in a different studio. You must have an adult (18+) occupying each room.
