Addonitis -- gave in!

Well, it finally happened, a year after buying our first DVC contract we just added 110 points at AKV with developers points and the $8 credit I can only hope that this will take care of the addonitis until they start selling Grand Californian DVC.

By the way my guide says the incentives were only extended for 10 more days if anyone else has addonitis too.

Congrats on the extra points! If you're anything like me though, another case of add-on-its will be back way sooner than you planned

Welcome to the Addonitis Club! I'm with you...would love to do an add-on at GCV, but after we added on at AKV last summer, I'm not sure that will happen.

Disney certainly makes it easy to add-on. I've added-on 14 times so far. My next add-ons will be GCV and CRV....

We are now among the group of Addonitis, we added 160 AKV pts last week. I never thought I'd see the day, DH just tollerates DS & I's Disney obsession. You should have seen the look on my face when DH asked if we should make an appt with the DVC Guide while onboard the Magic last week. OKAY!

I also find it interesting that 70% DVC Members add-on, according to DVC Guides.

We have been averaging an add-on every 6 months.

Yes, in addition to the current incentives we were offered an onboard credit of $500 with a minimum add on of 160 pts. That's what I think hooked DH, that and the flat screen TV's at AKV. I'm not sure how often this is offered, but the guide mentioned this woul dnot last long and wasn't sure if it would be offered again....maybe someone that cruises MORE often can help answer that.
