Addon ,multiple contracts??

Like many of you we are wishing we had bought more points .
We have 210 pointsat BWV.
We seem to need another 50 or 100
What are the differnces between adding on at home resort & having points at two resorts?
We often stay at differnt resorts and were thinking of getting points at BCV or SSR.

How does it work if you have say you have 210 at BWV and 100 at SSR can i boook a stay using 310 points at SSr at 11 months?

No, the 7-11 rules still apply...........

You can't add your points together and use 11 month window....
you can book SSR at 11 months, and BWV at 11 months.

That would be nice, but not fair to the people who own points at their home resort. The advantage goes to the member booking at their home resort......

I asked the same question about 5 years ago......

I think all DVC members wished we would have bought more points...... I wish that I would of bought more points 6 years ago.....

It depends on the member......I like having points at two seperate resorts..... other members don't.

I like to use my 11 month window to book at HH, it is a big advantage over NON owners who have to book at 7 month window.... Try to get into HH in June, July at your 7 month window....very difficult if not impossible to do...........

I HATE going to Disney at Easter, but my wife is a teacher so I have no choice...SO, using my 11 month window really helps me when booking at OKW at Easter time.

I found it took a little extra planning to have two home resorts. Although I have a lot of points at BWV, I just couldn't quite figure out how to use the 100 points at BCV to get all the days I wanted. Banking and borrowing drove me crazy, so I finally sold the 100 BCV points. Now I don't have enough points, but at least they are all at BWV, so I don't have to try to remember which points are banked, which are borrowed, when I am planning a trip. This way I book 11 months ahead at BWV, and then just try at the 7 month window to get into a different resort. If I can't, then I still have BWV, which I am very happy with.

I also added-on at our original home resort, BWV, for extra 11 reservations power. We had thought about adding on at VB given the attractive price and the fact that we will likely go there nearly every year (cuz we LOVE it there). What tipped the balance for us is the fact that we can usually reserve VB for the times we want at 7 months (we like January) and wanted the possibility to reserve a BWV GV at some point; we like BWV during Food & Wine and our April break, and so we need the 11 month window.

It is also nice that we only have one home resort and use year to keep track of making everything that much easier.
