Additional Purchaser/Associate Member

On our DVC membership I am listed as an additional purchaser since everything was done in both our names and I have a DVC membership card, but what exactly is an associate member?

A person who has no ownership interest, but is allowed to make reservations.

Exactly. Them of them as a non-member that "manages" your DVC membership for you.
