Additional MK DVC after hours events

For the MK event, you had to be staying in a DVC room. For the beach bash, when they first opened up booking you had to be in a DVC room as well. But after a month or so they opened it up for anyone. I randomly called one day and there was availability so I just booked a room at Pop Century.
I went to the MK party earlier this year. We had 6 family members going and no one was staying onsite that night. Made the reservations the first day of booking without issues.
The party at the waterpark originally required you to have an onsite reservation.

Does anyone remember how many guests you could get tickets for and how it works?
For the MK events earlier this year:
If you were staying on-site, it was up to the number of people on the room reservation.
If you were not staying on-site, it was the member and (I believe) up to 5 guests.

My husband and I are both members essentially, could I book a room and get those people tickets and then he get tickets for others? Trying to figure out if we just need to get a 2 bedroom instead of a 1 bedroom.

Well I guess we can't rely on specific dates. I actually added on March 4 to a trip because of the event but hesitate to add on March 3 at this point. It could change again.

I had really wondered about them having the event on a Saturday night - I think the Friday seems likely to be the correct date. But yes, it could change again although I'd hope not.

Whoo-hoo! This actually falls during the Land part of our Sea and Land adventure. (First cruise EVER!)
Are the hours similar to MNSSHP and MVMCP? Starts around 7:00pm? This will also be the first time after dozens of trips we won't have a rental car and will be using Disney transportation. Trying to figure logistics for dinner, etc.

The after hours event will officially start at 9:30 pm. You would be able to enter the MK as early as 7 pm using just the event wristband.

I just cancelled a January trip and started rebooking for end of February to early March yesterday. February 24th was my starting day and March 5th my last night.

Needless to say I am late to this game.

I was able to book a split stay with Sun, Mon and Tues in a BWV BW view and Wed, Thursday and Friday in a Poly standard view. Can't get anything on 24th and 25th of Feb. Did get a room at OKW for March 4th and a room at BLT for March 5th, and then added waitlists.

Something tells me if I had booked a day or so earlier, I would have had more choices!

Princess Half Marathon Weekend is the weekend of the 23rd, so I don't think a day earlier would have helped with getting something on the 24th or 25th.
