Additional Fee for Dessert Parties under 20 people?

Just been browsing on magicalkingdom's wedding section and it says there is an additional fee for dessert parties for less than 20 people. (We'll be looking at Morocco for 12 total).

It also says that Escape brides have to arrange their own dessert party, it cannot be done by your Event Planner.

Are either of these statements true??
If so, how do you go about arranging it yourself?

I will go back and check for exta fees in my BEO for you... also, my Wedding Planner arranged my dessert party, so it's absolutely false your WP can and will do it! Be right back with more info on fees....

Merryl, no extra fees for being under 20 guests, just you have limited options for where to hold it.... it's okay though... the viewing fees and set up fee are the same and then of course you pick the menu... Hope this helped you!

I don't think I've heard anyone talk about the fees before, but it's always worth knowing

I was also almost certain that WP's had been booking in dessert parties for Escapees too, but again I like to check!!

I believe Morocco and Japan (if under 10) are the locations generally offered to Escape groups, although I think I have heard mention of the French arm also being used I think. I wonder which has the best view out of the two of Morocco and the arm?

Is the viewing fee still $12.50 apiece? I think all our guests will have the UK ultimate park hoppers though, so we shouldn't need to pay this.
And set up fee $75 regardless of how many tables/chairs?

It is still $12.50 and the set up fee is for however many chairs and tabels you'd need for your party size...

Also, it's me that is having it on the french arm and as an FYI, it's for exactly 20 guests.... so, if you have less than 20 it can not be held there. I just recieved confirmation on this a few days ago...

I think it's if the minimum is 20 for where you want to have it. The place that I'm having it is the max is 20, so I don't have to pay extra.... maybe it depends on where you want it?

I went back and looked over my paperwork and Carrie is right it is $12.95 for the viewing fee... duh! Knew she'd be right! Sorry for the mix up!

I have had to pay for the viewing fee upfront and then they will give it back to us after the wedding.

Also there are only 12 of us and we haven't had to pay a fee for a small group.
