Adding two to our dining reservations

Adding two to a reservation in MDE and we are a party of four, anyone tried that recently? We have had our dining reservations done in MDE, and going in less than 30 days. Family party of two now wants to buy tickets and join us (we'll have to work out the park reservations issue as some parks we have they won't be able to get now, or change ours, or see them after 2pm with park hopping). Not staying in Disney resorts.

But, any advice on adding two in dining on MDE?

I would go into MDE and try and modify your ADR.
Going to a restaurant with fewer guests has not been an issue in the past, going in with more was often a problem. With limited seating now, its probably more of a problem.

As PP said - you can try to modify your current ADRs (or just look for new ones). Try setting up ADR finders as well -- they work! What you should NOT do is just show up with extra people...especially right now with limited capacity, you are unlikely to be successful with that.

We have had good success with touring plans reservation finder when I couldn't get an ADR we wanted.
I would set that up and keep trying through MDE.

Once they get their tickets purchased I will try that. They have to do their MDE account also.

I agree, I wouldn't expect to be successful with a walk up add on to our reservation.

They have to do their MDE account also.

You can book the ADR now without listing all the guests, then go back and add their names when they have their MDE set up and are linked to you. The longer you wait to make the ADR, the less availability you’re likely to find.
