This might be a stupid question, but I know the members on this board will probably have an answer for me. My friend and I booked our trip last February for Oct 1-6, 2005. Before making our final payment in early August we decided to add the dining plan for an additional $175 per person. Earlier this month I read on the boards that Disney was offering free dining on packages booked through Oct 4th(I believe you had to make the reservation by Aug. 20th to qualify). Anyway, I called the reservation number to find out if I would have my money refunded since the dining plan is now free. The agent told me he had no idea what I was talking about and was not aware of any free dining option. Needless to say, I did not get my money refunded. At this point, I'm not going to push the issue since $175 per person for a week of food is still a really great deal. However, it's the principal of the whole thing.....any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks!

I suggest asking your question on the codes and rates section of the Disney Resorts board here on the DIS. You will get the information you need.

Buy the dining plan. I'm a DVC member we are not allowed to buy the dining plan. If we have the annual pass we buy the Disney Dining Experence Card . It saved us 20% our dining bills. Can save us a lot. My familly of 10 saved over $600 in May. :Pinkbounc
