Adding the Deluxe Plan

Does anyone know if I can add the Deluxe after my 45 day window is past? I currently have the regular plan and am trying to decide if I want to go Deluxe. Could I add that closer to my trip without a charge adjusting my reservation? I have heard they charge $50 to revise a reservation anytime within 45 days of your vacation. Does anyone know?

I was told I could add the Deluxe plan up to 3days prior to my date and only pay the additonal fee for the upgrade (no penalties)

I called today - less then 45 days and was told the same thing - up to 3 days prior
When I asked about the penalty - he said that would be if I downgraded from the Deluxe to the DDP - that they won't charge me a penaty to spend more money..lol

My concern about adding the deluxe at this late date would be.....will you be able to get the addtional ADR's you want to utilize the deluxe dining?

In my case - I already have my ADR's and then will upgrade my plan to meet my dining wants... so I am OK... But very valid point - I would definitely secure your ADR's before changing your ressie

Thank you! I made all my ADR's previously as if we were going with the Deluxe. THis way, if we decide to do it, I will have the ADR's. If not, I will cancel right away freeing them up for someone else. I really think we are leaning toward the deluxe, but I want to make sure I have enough $$ for it. This gives me a little time if there is no penalty to add and save up for it.
