Adding SunPass and GPS to Alamo rental

Booked a rental from Alamo at the Car Care Center online, did not see option to add SunPass or GPS, should be able to add that when I pick up the vehicle correct? Any idea of the cost?

GPS can be added in when you make your reservation. It's on the third page "Choose Extras" , after you select a vehicle. Navigation device $12.99 per day.

NOTE: if you are renting for more than a few days, it's probably cheaper to just purchase your own GPS unit from your local Walmart/Target/BestBuy.
ie: a 7 day rental for the GPS is going to cost you $90.93 + tax ($12.99 x 7 days).
Just an example: Walmart has a 5" Garmin on sale this week for $74.99 or a 6" TomTom for $88.99 (and it's yours to keep after the trip).

Alamo vehicles have a very sensible option for tolls, you are automatically opted in (through Platepass) if you drive through a SunPass only lane.
The nice thing about Alamo's system is that you pay a $3.95 fee plus any tolls charged per day BUT only on the days that you actually accrue any tolls.

In the Orlando area almost all tolls can be paid by cash by following the signs to the toll booths, a few are exact change only, and a VERY few (in the Orlando area) are Sunpass only (but not generally where most tourists travel).

Now if you are going further south (Miami area) there are a lot of Sunpass only areas.

Have you considered adding a navigation app to you cell phone as an alternative to a dedicated GPS? There are multiple options.

If you are driving to Miami & using Turnpike then it is SUN PASS only.

Driving to Miami & Everglades & Key West CAN BE DONE using Hwy 27 & Hwy 977
