I was thinking that, but my son is a very black and white thinker and I (over)worry that he'll be upset about a blank key or two keys. For now, I've left him in my room, so if something goes awry, I'm not messing with it.
Okay, so I did phone today and added my sister. She's never been on a cruise and was not part of my placeholder list of people, however, since she is going into my room, she was given the same 10% off that the rest of us got. There was no issue on that front. They also said it wasn't a big deal to move my son over to the other room, but for now (the cruise in 2020), I'm leaving him in our room.
Now, I just have to figure out how I want to 'bill' my sister. I figured 5 of us going, so total divided by 5, but I don't know the best way for her to pay her share of the cost. I don't mind handling all the charges, but I'm pretty sure she has a points credit card with no FX fee that she might want to use for her share. I'll have to figure that out.
You can use more than one card on your shipboard account. so, once you decide her share, she can pay that amount directly. She can also have her card used for her specific shipboard expenses.
