Adding snack points to your dining points?

First of all no flames please. I’m just asking.:lmao:
I’m not trying to scam the system ore find a loophole.

On an other forum I just read that someone stated “you can juggle with your snack points “and use them with your dinner points .

I wonder how this could be done?:confused3

Personnel I think it’s a joke ore scam but as I’m not very familiar with the DP I’m just asking the experts here.

Well, I just read recently on this forum that many of the 'side' items (e.g. fries) at the counter service restaurants are considered snack-credit items - so while your CS credit covers an entree or combo meal, a dessert, and a drink, if your sandwich or whatever doesn't come with any kind of side dish (making it a combo), you can add one with a snack credit.

As for the 'juggling' part? Hmm... no idea, but a thought - with the approval of a managers (usually your resort, sometimes restaurant-on-the-spot), Guests have been able to downgrade a credit. For example, if you're leaving and find you haven't used any CS credits, you MAY be able to use those credits for snacks instead. It's entirely discretionary on the part of management, and IF you can, you may get two snacks per credit, maybe three.

Personally, I hit Earl of Sandwich on my last day and bring home a bunch of BLT sandwiches :teeth:

I wonder if they mean by using snack credits for the bigger/more substantial sides? By juggling your credits like this you could end up with all three meals covered by the DDP versus have one be out of pocket?

An example of a dinner juggling could be...
Person A buys a combo meal with a CS credit
Person B buys a side of fries

A & B share the combo meal sandwich and each have their own order of fries for dinner.

"Cost" of the meal was one CS credit and one Snack credit. They've juggled to save one CS credit.

An example of breakfast juggling could be...
Person A buys a combo platter for breakfast
Person B buys an extra muffin

A & B split the muffin and the platter and each have breakfast.
"Cost of the meal was one CS credit and one Snack credit. They've juggled to save another CS credit.

If you are asking if you can have several snack credits changed to a counter service or table service credit...the answer to that one is No, you cannot upgrade snack credits to anything else. During especially busy dining times, they have occasionally allowed Table service credits to be turned into counter service & snack credits because people couldn't get into table service restaurants, but's that's downgrading, and it was a special circumstance.

Can you use your snack credits at a counter service location to buy separate components (side dishes) to make up a meal? Yes. But few "meat" dishes are listed as a side dish, so your meal is going to be missing the main dish item...you're not going to make a full balanced meal out of snack credits.

You can't use snack credits at table service restaurants.

At counter service, they can be used to supplement your meal (you can use one to buy a side or an extra dessert, if the restaurant accepts snack credits for those items)

I do not believe it is possible to combine snack credits and use them to pay for a CS or TS meal.

I'm trying to figure out exactly what the question is that is being asked.:confused3
